Scope of ACCA

ACCA is basically a Finance related international qualification. ACCA is a professional global body which is offering the Charter Certificate of Accountancy. It is working worldwide in almost 180 countries. It is a specialized qualification for Accountancy. Professional Accounting is a carrier option where you are working on Finance and Accountancy as well as you can develop your own business. ACCA students also have the possibility to join different other fields in future like the area of strategy, supply chain etc. Now in the modern era, ACCA students are also preferring to join supplementary area like Artificial intelligence, Robotics etc. The content and structure of ACCA are set in such a way that it enables the students to intersect different grounds and experience alternate areas of their own interest.

First of all, the curriculum is designed in such a way that you can join ACCA studies after Intermediate level or even after Matriculation, you can also start your ACCA after completing the graduation. For this, they have designed different pathways and that pathway makes you go through a process which helps you finally reach to start the ACCA studies. The pathway for a student that is joining ACCA after their Intermediate Level, they will start from the foundation diploma which has 7 papers all together and after clearing these seven papers they enter the ACCA qualification degree. In the ACCA qualification, the students have to attempt 14 papers for ACCA and after they have finalized the 14 papers the go for 3 years of professional and supervised training. After their training, the students achieve their goals and they are then called the ACCA Members.

In our traditional society female students always expression an issue. They have to discontinue or they have to take a break from their studies or professional carrier. Due to our Pakistani tradition females get married in their early life and they have a focus on their family growth. So, for this ACCA gives a huge advantage for female students especially. ACCA as a global body gives its students the flexibility to take a break during their education. It is beneficial for female students mostly. This ACCA structure gives an advantage to their students, that after completing their 9 papers they get a degree that is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree according to HEC recognition. In Pakistan, after the completion of further exams, ACCA students get an equivalent degree of M. Com that is also recognized by the HEC. ACCA is an incentive-based qualification in Pakistan. In the public sector of Pakistan, ACCA members get an extra allowance and it is recognized at the Federal Government level in Pakistan.
